Hi folks,

Just wondering how do I post a link to a picture? I am taking pictures of a book and want to send it in a PM (if needed) but I don't know how to do so. Can anyone help?

Thanks a bunch!!

Posting links in PMs is possible, but it requires skills I never quite got very good at lol.  I'm sure eventually someone will come along with the right information.  In the meantime, have you asked about sending the pictures to the member in an email instead?

You can post the URL in the PM and they can copy and paste into their browser address bar.  Or, if  you're familiar with HTML code you can use the link anchor code:  <a href = "URL" > Name of Link < /a>

You'll need to remove the spaces to get it to work.

The easiest way to do this is to copy the URL to the picture and paste it into the PM.  If it doesn't turn into a link, the person receiving the PM can just copy the URL and paste it into the browser.

Jessie, I just sent you a PM with a link. It was achieved using the html formatting which Mary S. (kilchurn) posted above.
