I just turned down a book because it didn't meet requestor conditions.  But, as I was looking at the book, I have reached the conclusion that it isn't a postable book at all.  But I can't figure out how to remove it from my bookshelf?  I know it has to be simple.  What am I missing?

Easy.  Just go to your bookshelf.  Click the little empty box to the far right next to that particular book.  Then click the delete button at the top of the page.

If it is a wish list book, that checkbox will not be by the book on your shelf. You will need to wait until the wish list offer gets accepted, and select I Cannot Mail. You will need to accept any RCs, and then cancel the transaction otherwise it would just roll to the next person.

It wasn't a WL.  The problem was that the book was listed at the bottom of my bookshelf so I had to scroll down to see it, but when I did that, then I could see the headings that went with checking the box to delete.  Thank you for your help, Sherry.  Now, I just have to figure out what to do with that book.

You wondered what to do with your unpostable book. If it's still readable and in decent shape, donate it to your one of your local charities. Those stores usually sell items cheap, and everyone likes to get a bargain.
