How do I search only 1 forum? I used the search function and it returned useless results from most all other forums. All I want to search is this forum. The Games forum has no chance of answering my question.

Thanks.

That would be a great feature because I too have looked for a post I remember reading and got all kinds of results.  The only thing you can do is be a little more specific in your search request, like trying to word it as a question that someone else may have used as a title to their post.

Perhaps some of the answers you seek can be found in the Help Center, Chuck!

I don't think there is a way, unfortunately.

There is no way to search other than the way presented: All forums at once.

If you want answers to questions, your best bet is to search the Help Center. Think of your question, then pull the most important keyword out of it, and search for that word. You will 90% of the time have your answer in the first couple responses. If not, think of your question in a different way, with different wording, and try a different keyword.

Also, spend some time reading the Browse Help Docs straight thru, like it was a FAQ, since that is what it is from. The most frequently asked questions (from over 25,000 other people, so someone is bound to think a little bit like you) have all been culminated to make the list of Docs, even if you only skim thru them down the line, you will surely answer a great deal of your questions. Enjoy!

Chuck, you were also assigned a Tour Guide when you joined PBS, and your Tour Guide is a wonderful source of information as well. Check your buddy list. Your Tour Guide will be listed there, and you can PM any questions you might have to that person. Of course, you are always welcome here, too. Your Tour Guide is just your personal volunteer helper. =)

PS: I checked your profile. =) Ender's Game is available in the system right now for you to order. Enjoy!

I've used the "suggestion" feature in the contact area to ask for this enhancement. Maybe if others do as well, it would rise in priority.  It would be great to be able to search just a single thread or single forum. In fact, I participate in a few different forums on other topics and on those sites, that capability has always been an option. I know these things vary depending on the software. Maybe it will become available in the future.
