Are the books you want listed on your Reminder List?  If Yes, here's how to search someone's large Bookshelf...

1) Find your way to their Bookshelf
2) Type Ctrl-F (this will bring up a dialog box for your browser's Find command)
3) Type in the word reminder

That's it!  Your browser will find and highlight the first book (if any) that is ON YOUR REMINDER LIST.  Click (Next or Find-Next) in the dialog box to find the next book (if any) that is on your reminder list.

PaperBackSwap only displays 50 books at a time so you will have to proceed to the next page of 50 books and continue finding books by clicking (Next or Find-Next).

I never thought of using the Find feature to look for books in a person's bookshelf! Thanks for the tip, Marilyn!

Good tip.

Also, if you look on your Reminder List, you will see that the "order now" button will be click-able if it is on someone's shelf.  I sort my reminder list "by availability" so that all my Reminder books that are on someone's shelf show up first.

But, I wish that I could tell how many wishes are on a book without clicking on the title.  So that when I have room on my Wish List and then I go to my Reminder List, I want to be able to choose the book that has the most wishers so that I can get in line.  Clicking each title to see how many wishes it has is too time-consuming.

Thanks, I have been waiting for this!  I have the ones I want on my Reminder so that will help so much when ordering multiplies!  Thanks!

This technique will also work to quickly find books by a particular author or that have a specific keyword in the title (such as a series reference) when searching a large bookshelf.

I like the search function (Search::Filter::Browse by Genre) at the top of the bookshelf.

You can type in a keyword or choose a genre from the drop down menu.

You can also search by binding.
