OK so if I buy a book that's free or super discounted for just a day-then it goes back up to it's regular price-how do I tell if my copy is lendable?  I downloaded The Devil of Kilmartin when it was free for one day.  The product page now says 2.99 and lendable.  Is the lending disabled on copies that were free?  Or can I assume that since the Loan This Book button is on my Manae My Kindle info for this book: that it's lendable?

(sorry if these are dumb questions-I don't want to have to buy a copy for somenone because I offer ot lend it and can't)

If it says lendable, it will still be lendable no matter what the price. When they pull the 'lendable' part that will disapear from the description of the item.

Worst case is that you offer it thinking it lendable and it won't go through. I've had that happen a couple of times when the web site I use for trades hadn't updated the status of the book after it was pulled from the list. All that happened is that I couldn't lend it and the requestor got a "sorry!' notice that it was no longer available.

But sounds like you're fine.

I was just coming back to put never mind.  I noticed when I looked at it again that it says up top "loan this book to anyone you choose".  I didn't see that before.
