Help.  I cannot ge the strike through to work.  Could some please walk me through the proper procedure?  Thank you very much.  Jack

I have seen other members post questions about formatting posts where the problems seem to be caused by differences in how different browsers work ... if you don't see the buttons for formatting when you are writing a post it might be your browser.

I use IE 7.0 and don't seem to have issues, but I know there are people who use different ones who do ...

I think the only browser that is problematic is sarfari.  I am using firefox and I have IE 7 and both work the same

I'm using Mac Firefox.  There is a open triangle to bring down the editing bar if it is recessed.  Next to the word "text".  From what I understand, some browsers open with it closed, some with it open. 

LOL Emily - I always forget about MACs, Linux and such.... I work in the windows world.  - Not only the browser but the OS too!!

I wanted to thank everyone for their help.  I have I.E. 8 and the advice to highlight the text and then click the strikethr button, worked!!!  Thanks again. Jack
