I received 3 wishlist offers today. Two of them are the same exact book, same exact ISBN, and the same poster offering both. I clicked the pm button and it's definitely the same person offering both books. Do I decline one and accept the other or do I accept both? Do I pm the poster and ask them to cancel one or do I cancel it myself?

DO NOT decline either. Accept them both and then cancel one of them. If you decline one, it will be passed on to the next wisher. Accept them both and then have the poster cancel one of them.

Yes, what happened is that there was probably a server "hiccup" when the member posted the book, and it created a double post.  Melanie's advice is right on!

Thanks for the advice. I sent the poster a pm asking her to decline one after I accept them both. Thanks again.

This is a glitch that happens sometimes.  It's important that it's the sender that cancels. If you cancel then it'll offer it to the next person in line.  They'll probably freak out when they see 2 pending requests for the same book.  Hopefully they'll check your PM first.

It has also been my experience that the system will not let you list the same book twice -- I mean, if you have two copies with the same ISBN you can only have one on your bookshelf for requests at a time, so it must be a glitch!
