Once a hunter, Vax left that behind long ago. Now she needs him. Jess is a psychic & telekinetic and is looking to avenge the death of her sister. She says she doesn't care if she dies but that's before she meets Vax. He awakens something she thought long gone, her heart. Together they will fight evil and learn about each other and hopefully in the end they can be together. This is a great series. Looking forward to the next.
