I picked this up on a whim from the library. It is a story about a young boy and his father surviving in the Superdome after Katrina. It is a YA book and an easy read, but a haunting story.

I'm assuming you've never been through a major hurricane? I can't imagine what those people went through with Katrina, I know I had a hard enough time with Wilma.

Tracey,

I really admire you that you were able to read that book, I'm chicken!!! :) Oh I thank God that you haven't had any direct hits!!! That's one of the main reasons we want to get out of FL, I just can't deal with hurricane season anymore. I feel like I'm on constant high anxiety alert in season since Wilma. I'm so grateful we didn't end up getting anything too major this year and hope we are out of here before next season :)
