I enjoyed reading this story. from the back cover:

His faith was being tested for the first time: Chad Reece's promising pro football career was cut short by a devastating accident, and then a kidney transplant revealed his biological parents were a couple he'd considered family friends. Shaken, Chad was determined to recover on his own, when he met Vicky Lanham, a pretty hospital volunteer.

Vicky's passion for mission work impressed Chad, who felt a call of his own to assist others. Perhepas it was the start of God's new plan - a life together helping others.

This is a Love Inspired romance. Cute story. Chad is a pro football player... it is his life.. his breath... his all. Then life takes a turn and as the result of one event, Chad's life unravels. He is no longer able to play football, which is a big enough blow, but then he learns that his adoptive parents are people he has known for years. He feels like a fool and isolates himself from everyone he knows and loves. Enter Vicky... a hospital volunteer who becomes Chad's link to the outside world. She drives him where he needs to go as he recuperates, finds him temporary lodging, cooks for him, listens to him and most importantly introduces him to Jesus.
