I have found that Charles Swindoll, has especially really good inspirational books. I have quite a few of his. However, I just can't give them
up. But if you are looking for such books, research his and see what you think. Max Lucado is another good one.
I just find them relaxing in the morning and the evening, before I get on to my usual routine, in the morning with errands and chores or
in the evening before reading my regular books.
Hope this is a good FYI for anyone interested in inspirational readling
I can't pick one in particular. But I do like the Bedside Blessings, that I read daily and gave some to friends of mine as gifts and they love them. And also, reading every evening, before my regular reading his Daily Inspirational Reading. I ordered the Finishing Touch, which was put out before the one I have, only to realize it is just about the same. I am giving that to my very good friend. I do have others on my wish list, which I will get around to ordering.
I am a Catholic and find that his reading makes no difference. I am actually wondering why some are so adamant about not reading non catholic literature. It's all the same God.....
I do find Andrew Greeley's mysteries of Father Blackie Ryan, just so interesting and amusing at the same time. They are another set of books my friend is waiting on.
But I will check out that site. Thanks.
