The McGuffey Readers are online for free. Google Books is one location to find them: http://books. google.com/ books?q=mcguffey &as_brr=0

Tip: Click only on the books that have green "Full View" text next to the name. Those are the books that Google has fully scanned. We also use Ray's Arithmetic through Google Books.

I got this as an email from a group that post about free stuff on the net I don't know if it will help but here it is.
