My quest this year is to help out our school's literacy coach provide books for all the students in our school. Right now she is mainly after early reading level books, but anything that could really get a kid's interest is great.  We only have ~500 students Pre-k - 12th grade, so I think I can do it.  I've gotten one bunch of books at salvage stores, but thought I might be able to find some on PBS too.  Every book I can donate is another one she can buy with whatever funds they have.

Rebecca,

PM me your address or the address of the school where you want these to go and I will see what I can do.  Through the years (I have taught 29) many people through deals have helped me here and on Frugal Reader which no longer exists.  Vicky

My bookshelf is almost all children's books, with a number of early reader books. Let me know if there are any you can use. Thanks for looking!

Monica, looking at your shelf now, will PM you.

Always looking for anything Pre-k-5th grade that's suitable for classroom libraries or gifting to the kids, PM me if you want to make a deal.  ;)

Hi,

I'm currently running a 2/1 on hardbacks, 4/1 on paperbacks, but if you can find some you can use I'll do a 3/1 on hb and 5/2 on pb.  Just let me know if you can use any of them.

Thanks!

I have a lot of the classics and mainly books for middle-high school, but I'll give you a 3 for 1 deal on anything you want. Also, I recently found some Pacemaker Classics stowed in a cabinet (somewhere I read they were 2nd grade reading level). I haven't yet gotten Two Years Before The Mast and The Last of the Mohicans posted yet because their ISBNs aren't recognized by PBS, but the're available as well. Best of luck!

Thanks again.  Sassy, ordered some and sent you a PM.  Everyone else, I appreciate it, but I'm flat out of credits, so I'll check back in when I have some.  :)

Anyone have deals on sight word readers?  Scholastic usually has some that are 10 in a pack?  Just 8-10 pages and 5-6 word sentences per page?  I want to try to help out my daughter's kindergarten class/teacher - I'm going to go in and help them work with sight words and was hoping to have a bunch of books to give as rewards.

Thanks,

Becca
