Okay, I think we need to all conspire to make this the most responded-to thread in the forum. ;-)

I bet Brandy is running one of those social experiments to see how many people will open and/or respond to this thread.

No, honestly, I posted something here that should have been in the club member thoughts forum. I had forgotten what forum I was in. so I deleted it here and posted it in CMT. It was about weather to renew my OnStar subscription.

I agree, I'll help conspire.  Umm, ok. I have nothing to say...

I know, let's talk about Christmas presents. I got the DVD of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" from my husband, which I think was actually more of a present for him than me. But I don't mind. :-) He also got me some old musicals that I love. And a really cool lampshade that totally completes our bedroom redecorating.

And my mom made me the most awesome glitter-covered black dress that I wore last night.

Ok, I got an red Ipod nano, which is the only thing I asked for this year.  Also a cast iron skillet (I wanted this, but didn't ask for it, my Mom just pays attention to me I guess LOL), some new bathroom towels, $$ from the grandparents. And a few other odds and ends, but those are the big ones.

I know, "ignore me" threads are like car accidents - you just have to look. I've already looked twice.

Ok, maybe that's a bad or inappropriate analogy. I was looking at an "ignore me" thread in another forum and accidentally hit "submit reply" instead of "back to the top" so I inadvertently responded in it (blankly) as well. Did you realize you could just  hit "submit reply" and it actually does submit a blank reply? How dumb is that? Shouldn't it prompt you and say something like "did you really mean to post this" like it does with PMs?

My contribution to this thread is that I read 3 audio books on a road trip this week - 1 romance (Linda Howard's Cover of Night - sorta romance, but not enough...), 1 James Lee Burke, Pegasus Descending - I just love Will Patton's south Louisiana accents - and one I'll have to look up, something about a diary by a part time Indian written and read by the guy who wrote the script for Smoke Signals.

For Christmas I got an Archos 605, which is a 'personal media player' but I just call it an mp3 player. But it plays video and pictures and can go online also. I already knew I was getting that though because I spent a lot of time researching new mp3 players with my mom and days after I had decided that this one was the one I wanted, I got a 'mystery' phone call telling me not to buy it.

I got a Wii Fit. I LOVE it. I have used it every day and have lost 3.7 lbs so far. It would have been more, but I pigged out and drank too much NYE

I just love to read ignore me threads

My son got me a puppy dog  foot massager so now I can sit at the computer and have my feet massaged at the same time.

OK I'll contribute too!! Can't help but join the party

My husband and son got me a Scene It for Xbox -- No I don't do X-box but since I love playing games and they typically don't (except my son on his x-box) - this was great -- They actually broke down and played on New Years Eve with me. It's fun for anyone who hasn't done it - Lots of different kinds of questions about movies (recent and old) - From what people tell me there are Disney and TV versions too and it's available for DVD players. And yes, I won, and my character did the Happy Dance. Have a good New Years everyone. Trish F

Hey Trish F.  I didn't know they made Scene It for Xboxes.  I have the regular movie version and the Friends version for the DVD player.  Unfortunately the one time I played the Friends one with my family I creamed everyone so thoroughly no one wants to play it with me ever.  :D  We're better matched on the regular movie one.  My brother got the Seinfeld one for Christmas this year (or rather, last year, haha!).  Now he would kick my butt on that one.

My son and I got a joint gift of DDR X, which we have both been enjoying greatly.  He got almost 700 combos yesterday. 8-o

Crystal - its for X-box 360 - came with 4 controllers - I did win the two games we played but my son is so quick on the controller he gave me a run for my money -- the questions are random but there were a couple repeats so I think he'd learn the more we play... My DH sad to say likes sports much better than movies so he did trail the two of us --- BUT it was fun!

I got a postal scale for Christmas. It was the one thing I asked for.  My mom even went all out and got a fancy one with a detachable digital read out that can weigh items up to 300 pounds.  Unfortunately, it doesn't weigh anything under one pound.  So, I have to come up with something around the house that weighs a pound and add it to all my orders when I weigh them, then subtract the extra weight.

Oh well, at least now I can do printed postage and won't have to wait in line at the PO forever.  Thanks mom!
