This book contains all three books in the trilogy THE EYE IN THE PYRAMID, THE GOLDEN APPLE and LEVIATHAN. These books are filled with sex, drugs and conspiracy theories. ALOT of sex, ALOT of Drugs and ALOT of conspiracy theories. At times I thought I was reading an adult novel. The story in itself was good, but the way the author told it was very confusing. Too many storyline jumps within one paragraph. Half the time I couldn't figure out what was going on. The story would jump between the past, present and future. This happened a lot more in the first book THE EYE IN THE PYRAMID than it did in the other two. By the time you get to the third book, you start to figure out what is going on. Unfortunately it is 563 pages later. This writing style is not for me.

This book is huge! And despite the fact that I like weird conspiracy theory stories, I only got about midway into the first book of the trilogy before giving up. At least one of my friends just loves this book, though, so I think it may be largely a matter of taste.

Kind of fun...little bit confusing for me, but I don't read much sci-fi-ish stuff.

Strange writing, non-linear jumps for unclear purposes, drug-induced hallucinations that might or might not be important. Oh, and global conspiracies, of course. And that vaguely james-bond submarine.

Eh. Would have been interesting in high-school. Not anymore. I didn't read past the first 'book'.

Just not my cup of tea.
