Everything the movie was and more. Peter David writes fantastic movie novelizations. Check out the first Hulk movie (Ang Lee) novelization from 2003, it's miles better than the movie. David also wrote Iron Man, Fantastic Four 1 and 2, and all three Spider-man movie novels. He really does add much more to the story to make reading a movie novelization worthwhile.

This book contains, basically, the story of the movie, but adds more characterization to Bruce and Betty. Very well written and includes lots of subtle in-jokes to the Marvel Universe. Very fun read.
