I'm buying the August BOM from Amazon so, of course, I have no choice but to buy other books so that I can get that free shipping, but I can't decide what to buy! I never usually have this problem. I've added about 20 books to my cart since last night and removed about 20 more, and simply can't make up my mind.

So, I'm wondering what you guys would suggest. Have you read a new release lately that you think is a must read? If so, let me know about it, please! I really need to get Black Ships ordered soon so that I'll have it in time.

I need help! :-D

Nevermind. Since I have so many unread books, I decided to do the smart thing and order a used copy of just the one book I need. So, I have passed up buying books today!!!  Has anyone seen any pigs flying or noticed Hell freezing over? LOL!

Anyways, I was going to recommend As Meat Loves Salt, but I think you have it.

Sorry about the cold, Marci! I hope the flying pigs aren't too much of a bother. ;-)

Genie, I do have As Meat Loves Salt. See, I need to read some of the books I have before buying more.

UGH! I just realized I misspelled my subject! I gotta go fix that right now. I guess the not buying of books freaked me out so badly yesterday that I lost my ability to spell. ;-)

Well, I'm back to square one! I bought Black Ships, and just received this message:

Dear Valli,
I've credited your account for the order. Your book was packaged and ready to be shipped this morning - but a pipe burst in our inventory room and all of our packages were ruined. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. It will be a few days before we are up and running again.

I just can't win, lol! How terrible for them though! Now, I have to browse the books for sale again, and fight off temptation AGAIN!

No, Anne. I didn't have time to go order another copy yesterday. Since the month is already half over, I was thinking that maybe I should see if a bookstore around here has it. I need to get busy and find a copy!

Debbie, You crack me up too! I think I come to this forum sometimes just for a laugh.

Valli, OMG! I feel for the poor bookseller too.

Yes, the poor bookseller; not much worse than water damage for books.

Yeah, I definitely feel worse for the bookseller than I do for myself! Now, if my refund doesn't get posted soon, I may not feel as bad for them. ;-)
