Rebeka Randall hires two men to help her break her wayward brother out of jail. Chase Hawken is the man who brought her brother in to be hanged for his crime, but Rebeka assumes Chase will guide them into Montana. He is part Native American as she is and can understand how society treats 'their kind'.

Chase knows the moment he sees Rebeka that she must be his beloved dead wifes twin sister. He's unsympathetic to the brother, who was riding with the men who murdered his wife, but helps Rebeka. Her fierce loyalty to her brother touches him, but something more draws him to her.

Very strong hero and heroine. Adopted half-breed Rebeka will do anything to save her brother from his so called new friends. She unknowingly plays into the hands of the bad guys. Chase is shocked to see his dead wife's face staring back at him from the end of a gun and will do whatever it takes to save her from herself. This book has some great secondary characters and evolves around how important families are. I really enjoyed the exchanges between all of the characters and look forward to Ms. Morgan's next book.

Chase Hawken knew where he was going. His career as a cavalry scout had been legendary, his life a dream.Even when the law turned on him,he took solace in tracking down criminals and bringing them to justice-and he always got his man.But then came Rebeka,an indigo-eyed beauty who traveled with outlaws and stirred feelings he'd banished. And beneath a glowing moon, following this woman into oblivion, the hardened gunman knew he was lost forever.
