I have a 25-year old book that's just been requested from me. It's in excellent condition except both inside covers are very yellowed, though the text pages are fine. No RC from requestor. I need reassurance it's o.k. to send out. - I always go through the stress of hoping the book arrives safely *and* that the requestor will be happy. I know - chance we take!

Age-yellowed pages are fine. The paper inside of the cover is even less of a concern. No worries.

This just indicates that the inside covers were made from a more acidic paper than the rest of the book.  They have aged more rapidly.  That is fine.

I've sent many older books in that condition, and see it more frequently now even in books 6 -10 years old.

I'd just send it.  I wouldn't PM because then you get in the situation that you don't know WHAT to do if they never answer the PM.   I see no need to PM about any book that meets the PBS guidelines.
