This book was read by my 55 year old mother who knew absolutely nothing about computers and it really helped her. She read the chapters that were relevant to what she needed to learn to get started, and then used the book as a reference when she had questions or needed more advanced information. There is some tekkie stuff in the book that would be beneficial for laymen who want to learn a little more about IT. This book is perfect for the older generation members who want to get their feet wet and learn how to get online without all the confusion. If you have a family member who is new to the online world get them this book, it will save you from some of those hour long phone calls!
