Hi, I've been on PBS since last August and only recently found this forum and started lurking now and again :) I thought I would introduce myself.

I am a wife of 20 years to a great guy, mother to 3 beautiful daughters. They are now 17, just shy of 16 and 10. We have been homeschooling 6 years now. It has flown by. My oldest will be in 12th in the fall and I can't believe I will be graduating my first student LOL

For the main curriculum I use primarily Five in a Row and Beyond Five in a Row. That message board has been my lifeline and main support all these years. For the high school years my 2 oldest are so different that it has been a shuffle of things to get through subjects. Perhaps going through this twice will give me more of a handle for when my youngest is in high school. LOL

So in a nutshell that is it. I am looking forward to continue gleaning from all you courageous, wise women :)

Welcome, Wendy,

I've just graduated my first.  The house isn't even put to rights from the graduation party yet.  This is an interesting bunch on this board, varied backgrounds and views.  I always check it first thing in the morning.

Hi.  I am a new member and also just discovered this forum.  I have one who just graduated college and one who graduated HS last year and one going into high school in the fall.  We use an eclectic style - unit studies, texts, DVDs, reading whole books ala Classical Style.  We are actively involved in a high school co-op and it has been a great way to keep us on track and allows some peer interaction for my 3 dc.  We, too, have had to adjust based on the individual's learning style and interests and it has been a wild ride - but awesome and fun and I wouldn't have had it any other way.  So, I am looking forward to getting to know some of you and I can encourage all to home school high school.  It is challenging, but oh,so worth it.  Congratulations on graduating your first, Adrianne. and to you, Wendy, for getting this far.  Awesome!
