Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I am new to the Paperback Swap, but I am really excited to find this site.  I love to read romance novels and have belonged to Harlequin's Super Romance club for years.  I am married with 4 kids and work full-time as a teacher.  When I am finally alone at night my favorite thing to do is curl up with a good light read.  I can't wait to trade some of the books I have and also collect some of the ones I have missed that I have wanted to read.

I see that many of you said that Outlander was one of your favorite series.  I love thoose books to and once I had the pleasure of meeting the author and hearing her speak at the local library.  She is as entertaining as her books! I have the 2 of her books that she autographed for me!!

I also like LyVyrle Spencer and Jean Auel (Clan of the Cave Bear).

If there is anyone out there with the same interests I would love to "meet" you!  Happy reading.

Elizabeth

Welcome!  I read a bunch of category romances but I'm venturing out into erotica and other longer-length novels.  Some light chick-lit but mostly romance with a few paranormals too.

Stick around, we're always discussing something around here!

Hi Elizabeth.  Welcome to the board:)  There are lots of interesting & informative discussions here, and quite a few that are just plain fun as well.  Expect to discover new authors & lots of new books to try, because you will:P  Don't hesitate to share your own favorites as well.  We love recommendations!

hey so the 'super' thread has a topic LOL! welcome! :-) I read harlequins along with a bunch of other stuff..still haven't made my way to the Outlander series though! I usually like the light/funny/cutesy comtemporaries though I read some suspense/light suspense and historical from time to time.oh and the erotic romance too! :-) can't forget those!

I have a bunch of 'favorite' authors but recently Marianne Stillings has joined my list. Ialso like Lucy Monroe, Vicki Lewis Thompson, Nora Roberts(not all of hers!), Merline Lovelace, Jayne Ann Krentz(she and Roberts were faves from back in the '90s!), Jory Strong and Lisa Marie Rice for erotic romance...and I know there are tons of others!!

anyways, welcome! Each Sunday we start a new 'what are we reading this week' thread so join in..not all the reads are romance..it's my m ain genre but I sometimes post a mystery or something else I'm reading and I enjoy seeing what else others who post here are reading!

Hi Elizabeth -- I love LaVyrle's work, too.  I also love Maggie Osborne and very early Lorraine Heath.  You must find Always to Remember, Parting Gifts and Sweet Lullaby.  They remind of Spencer's writing.

Hi Elizabeth, Welcome to PBS. I've only been a member for about 3 months but I really like this site. Its great to be able to share books with people  who like the same kind as you.

I read romance,  historical, contemporary and alot of erotica. Someone on this thread just mentioned  Lorraine Heaths sweet lullaby? I've been looking for that book for awhile now and could'nt find it so a few days ago I ordered it from amazon.Cant wait to get it and read it.

There are so many writers that I like but  I also read the harlequin and silhoette.

Allo, Elizabeth! :D

I am not really familiar with Harlequin's Super Romance. Would you suggest a couple so I could add 'em to my reminder list? :)

k0a6679-

I would recommend the Shelter Valley Series (or any of the ones by Tara Taylor Quin for that matter!)  I also liked the Single with Kids series.  They are longer then the typical Harlequin so I like them a lot better.  I hope you like some of those.  If I think of anymore I will let you all know.

Those are some of my favorite authors too.  Do you like Kathleen Givens, Johanna Lindsey, Eugenia Riley or Sandra Brown??

Tina, some of the Superromances I've read recently that I've enjoyed have been by Jeannie Watt (The Horseman's Secret, The Brother's Return; she's got a new one out in October), Debra Salonen (she's got several that include dogs--Love, By George; A Baby on the Way, Who Needs Cupid?...), Karina Bliss (Mr. Imperfect, Mr. Impossible, Mr. Unforgettable), Amy Frazier (The Trick to Getting a Mom, Independence Day), Beth Andrews, Helen Brenna (Treasure, Dad for Life), and Amy Knupp (The Boy Next Door).  I think Harlequin has also folded their Everlasting Love line into the Superromance line, and I liked quite a few of those, too.

Happy reading!
