Excellent, timely points of view from the author for women 50+ who are nearing or already in their second adulthood. Affirms that we don't have to live by the rules of parents or grandparents concerning women's roles and that we truly can be/do/have what we dream of. The chapter on The Fertile Void is especially good. This is not just another feel good book. It helped me change my mind about the way I could live my life as a single woman who has raised her children and still has a lot of livin' to do. It continues to be an excellent resource for me. The author provides data from studies and brings her personal experiences to the table. I highly recommend it. I was hardly able to put it down and almost disappointed when I finished it because I wanted it to go on.

Good one - reinforces what matters, what works and what's next for women in the second half of their lives.
