Ok, so I knew that if you sort your WL by Author, the "Wishlist: 1-50 of X" statement at the top of the page may reflect fewer books than "X", as there may be some that are listed without an author and don't get counted in the sort.

However, I notice now that no matter how I sort my WL, by Title, Author, or Date, it appears I only have 199 books on my WL - until I try to add one more, when I am tsk-tsk'ed that I already am maxed out at 200. I really don't think I have a book on my WL that doesn't have ANY of Title, Author or Date fields. What gives?

Any ideas? And when did the "Increase Indent" formatting button stop working? And.. and.. (well, that's enough bugs for now!)

TIA!

You mean the "Increase Indent" formatting used to work?!!

Well I don't think this answers your "why" question but when I look at your wish list it shows 200 books.

I can see 200, also. Try this, search for yourself in the Member Directory, under the Community tab at the top. Click on your name, then on WL and you can see your WL as we see it.

Yep - y'all are right. However, when I look at my WL the "regular" way, it doesn't agree.

If you look again, I bet it'll say 201!   ;-)     (just had an Accepted book time out, so it got put back on my full WL)

It's not a big deal - just an annoyance. I thought the bug was only with Author sorts, but apparently a new one has crept in during the recent system-wide updates. Thanks!

So have you compared the two different versions of the list to see which one is hiding from you?

Yes, I a little obsessive and would have promptly sat down and went through them until I found the bugger causing me frustration.

Not yet. I can be that obsessive, but I have to finish memorizing the sources, functions and antagonists of all the endocrine hormones first! ;-)

(*sound of clanking chains dragging me back to the books*)

Well it is 201 books.  I downloaded that WL into an Excel spreadsheet and came up with 202 rows with the first row being headers.

Here's a http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/3783/capturejbi.jpg

Sure is - and thanks for pointing out one can download the whole WL - I'd forgotten about that.

Unfortunately, it's still weird - I"ve confirmed that every book has a title, but sorting by title (in PBS "My Wishlist", not in Excel) still yields a total that is one less than it should be. Like I said, not that big a deal to remember that I actually have one more than is shown - just an annoyance.

I bet it is a title that begins with an "A" or "The". Now get back to the endocrine system!

I glanced through your WL and noticed that you had two different versions of this book--the hardcover and PB

The Cartoon History of the Universe III: From the Rise of Arabia to the Renaissance

Maybe for some reason, the system is counting them as the same book and not putting the correct count on the list you see.  Although I'm not sure why it would do that because they are different ISBN.

Sorry, I know that's not any help, but it was the only thing I could think of.

First problem is that you are wishing for "Letters for an American Lady" with ISBN 22106. Wish listing the PBS assigned numbers is not recommended. There's an explanation somewhere in the Help Center about non-ISBN items not working on the wish list.

Second problem is that "Slombo the Gross" with ISBN 9780060207755 is listed on your wish list twice. Apparently you only see this once when you look at your own wish list, but I see it twice when I download it from your public profile. I would suggest not trying to fix this yourself, since if deleting the one record you can see actually removes both, you will have lost your place in line. Use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the screen and ask the PBS team to fix this for you.
