I loved this excellent history written in great prose. It tells the stories of the Fenian's in America and Ireland from before the American Civil War through the start of the Republic of Ireland. From launching a ground war on Canada from America to twist the tail of the Imperial Lion, to building a submarine to harrass British shipping, to collaberating with Germany during World War One, the Fenians set a standard for thinking outside the box.
