Olivia comes to London after a brief encounter with the unhappily married Jeremy in her hometown of Bristol. She has no job and no place to live but romantically thinks she can stay with Jeremy & work on their relationship while he gets a divorce... wrong! Turns out Jeremy is boarding with his wife's cousin, Declan Malone, in a beautiful Notting Hill townhouse, and has no firm plan to leave his wife. Declan resents Olivia's presence but unwillingly finds her a place to stay, and things take off from there. Olivia still hopes to form a lasting relationship with Jeremy but finds herself more & more attracted to Declan, although their mutual attraction takes the form of sniping & striking sparks from each other. Nicely paced, romantic story with likeable characters (except the slimy Jeremy); kind of like watching a romantic comedy.
