I used this book for my son who had a hard time writing in cursive.
It worked great.

This is an excellent part of the Ittalic Handwriting Series. I have used them with all of my children at some point, however, I have never followed the program through. My children are too old to restart this program now, but I have always wanted to see the results of somone who had. For me, this served(beginning with a lower level)as an invaluable resource for getting children to learn cursive quickly and neatly without too much surpervision. It's a favorite!
We use this series with our sons and it's fabulous! We've found it very helpful for training them to have clear, attractive handwriting without some of the frustrations traditional cursive can pose for boys and their motor skills. The student begins with letters printed at a slight slant with a few flourishes, so that transitioning to cursive is just a matter of learning the joining technique. All three (ages 7-13) have good handwriting and it's sure not because they're prodigies! A few minor tweaks would make the books even more user friendly, but they're a great investment.
