I received a book on the inside fron flap it says "Pull here."  Something was there orginally but I don't know what, maybe cards that go with the series. Will I be able to repost the book without what ever was there orginally? The book is The Maze of Bones by Rick Riordan ISBN: 978-0-545-06039-4.

The item is required to be there if it was media.  Such as paper, CD, CD ROM, DVD.  

If it was a toy, then it is not required.  This book was to come with trading cards.  Kinda a grey area if media or not.

Books with accompanying media Materials: Yes IF the accompanying materials are included

• A book with accompanying audiocassettes (for example) will earn 1 credit.
• A book with accompanying cassettes or CDs is not an "audiobook".  An audiobook is a book read aloud by a narrator.
• If the listing for the book indicates that the book comes with accompanying media materials (CD, VHS, cassette, DVD), all materials must be posted with the book.  If you do not have the accompanying materials, the book cannot be posted alone.
• The accompanying media materials (without the book) also cannot be posted alone.

Books with Accompanying Non-Media Materials: NO

• Non - MEDIA items cannot be sent by Media mail
• Example: a book whose listing says that it requires a decoder for its proper use, or an accompanying deck of cards, or craft materials.  Such a book cannot be posted.
• If the book listing indicates that the book comes with non-Media materials the book should not be posted

It is a grey area, like Emily said.  However,  if it's postable the cards should have been included.  If it's not postable, it shouldn't have been sent.

Either way, I would mark it RWAP and ask for my credit back.  The book looks pretty useless without the cards.

According to the review of the book.... " Each book comes with a set of clue cards."  Thus I would say the book is unpostable and you should mark it RWAP and request your credit back.

Thanks everyone I knew I had see something about it when I first explored the site but couldn't find it the other night. I guess at some point everyone receives their first RWAP.
