What is the deal with Jaci Burton books?  My library has none and it seems like forever until I get one through PBS.  I haven't ever read her books and don't want to buy one until I know if I like her writing or not.

Are they that good that they are keepers...ALL of them?

Please let me know if you have read her and what you think.  Thanks

Her sports series is smoking hot. I haven't read the rest.

I would venture to guess that they are too steamy  for your library to buy and shelve a paper copy and her publisher, Berkeley, doesn't sell to Overdrive for a digital copy. She also only gets published in trade and since those are so spendy, I don't think near the number get bought and traded like, say, a Jill Shalvis or Stephanie Laurens book.

Oh yeah, I LOVE her sports series.  I've read some of the Wild Riders series too, I think the first couple of those are not WL.

I don't have any on my keeper shelf, I pass them along via Games or I repost them on PBS.

I see she has 4 titles available on PBS right now to order.

I love her and I don't keep any books and so posted any of hers I had here.  My library has like 20 of her books.

My guess is they get traded a lot through the WL threads and the games forum.  Maybe you should check out the erotica virtual box.  I think I traded a couple through there.

I'd say their mostly traded through the games and maybe the WL forums also. I LOVED her Wild Riders series. I flew through them in a matter of days. I havent started the sport series yet.

I would for sure wait until you come up on a WL before you spend the money. Or go out and find a UBS copy. I have read her Sports series, but don't love the series. I hang onto the books though so I can go gaze at the hot covers when I want to. Her writing at times though reminds me of Lora Leigh..the smexy times are there, but repetative, IMO.

So, is she considered erotica?  Not my cup of tea, but I do like Victoria Dahl, Susan Donovan, the visitation series from Lori Foster and the Elite Ops series from Lora Leigh.

Yes, I would consider her light erotica.

LOL - just checked her out of Fantastic Fiction and she came up on the pages new Adults Only spin-off.  Never read any of her books but I checked my two library districts and see a very good selection being offered by both.   But then, neither system has been shy about stocking the more risque offerings.  Guess I should check a few out based on some of the comments here.  Betsy, do you have a UBS nearby that offers them?  Some of my local UBSs won't sell them but a few others keep those kinds of books in special sections.

It's funny, but since I found PBS, I have kind of lost track of UBS's.  I think I'll go find one around here and see if I can find one of hers.  The sports theme sounds great.

Thanks for all the help, ladies.

Her books usually have graphic sex. But I haven't read any by her that had anything extreme in them.  They usually have a plot too and aren't just a bunch of sex scenes.
