I'm a big fan of paranormal romance and loved the premise of this new series. Jacki Frank's first book "Jacob" was creative and interesting and humorous. Usually, I don't like the flippant, tough talking female characters. But this one (Isabel) is a strong, funny human woman with just enough irreverence to keep the scenes from getting too heavy and melodramatic. I liked the mix of fantasy and reality. And the secondary characters are really interesting, leaving lots of room for future stories.

Excellent paranormal- at first I thought the book was about vampires. But it's actually about demons.

Jacob knows the excuses his people give when the madness overtakes them and they fall prey to their lust for humans. He's heard every one and still brought the trespassers to justice. This is the first Nightwalker book in the series and it was great! I love authors that are able to introduce a group of characters that stay close through out the series.
Can't wait for the next one to come out!

Totally enthralled with this series! Way better than Feehan, but the characters have the same drive and mentality toward their devotion to one another. A balanced combination of romance and erotica. I just found a new author to add to my list of favorites! I just hope the rest of the series has characters as touching and these two.

Jacquelyn Frank spins a new take on the world of the preternatural. A world where Demons are not necessarily the monsters of our dreams. Jacob is the enforcer of the Demon Kings laws, but finds himself compelled to challenge those laws when he is irresistibly drawn to a woman who is human but also so much more.

Loved this book. Very entertaining. This and the next book in the series were my favorites.
