I just finished Double Cross which I didn't think was a good as most.  This are always "quick reads" and I like the short chapters but this one was just missing something.

I thoroughly enjoy Robert B. Parker and have probably read all of his books.  His newest is Spare Change a Sunny Randall novel. I believe the Spenser series are my favorite but enjoy how the characters intertwine between novels.

Jodi Picoult is another author who is a great read. However, I find that in most of her books the women are expoited in some way and are much weaker characters, usually with mental problems.  I am normally very depressed when I finally finish one of her books.  And yet I keep searching for them.

hi just finished his the quickie; & got from Friends of the Library; didn't expect to like it, cuz some of his others have been a little off. I was pleasantly surprized; very much like his women's murder club series which i enjoy really well; keeps you guessing; from the info on the book didn't think i would like but was very well done & i super enjoyed!
