Paula -- those are all individual books that do not need to be read in any order.

Those books are not part of any series.

He writes with a few co-writers so that's how he churns some of them out quickly. I'm a major Patterson fan and think they're all great books but his individual books don't  quite have the  plot "depth" that his Alex Cross or women's murder club mysteries do. That's just my personal observation. But they're all very good.  I have all three you mentioned but haven't read them yet.  And like others already said, those are individual books so they can be read in any order.

Just read the quickie, got from Friends of the Library, not sure if I would like, but started it & was pleasantly surprized it was an excellent read, very much like his women's murder club series which are my favoritest. Don't let the title or story line turn u off, very good story. Some of this with other authors i have not been crazy about. Haven't read double cross yet, haven't wanted to pay full price, usually look at used book stores, & can get within a couple of months after out at fraction of the cost (friends of the library 1st ed was only $2.00 hardback). What can i say? i am on disability & love to read & love great bargains!

sorry, did get you've been warned & didn't finish, didn't care for, his step on a crack was very good. With it he starts with a new person who i think he is going to write more stories about.
