About a week ago, Jeanne asked in another thread (I think it was the Kindle/Nook deals thread.) about a possible series on the Battle of Hastings by James Wilde. I think I unravelled the mystery. cool

AZN is selling the Kindle version of the first book in the series (Yes, it's a series.) under the title Time of the Wolf. According to Goodreads, the alternate title is Hereward. The second in the series is Hereward: The Devil's Army, which is not yet available in a Kindle edition at AZN.

BTW, I'm currently reading Time of the Wolf and it's really good. Wilde channels Bernard Cornwell right down to his sense of humor, which is totally irreverent. I think we found a new HF author, y'all.

Good to hear.  I missed Time of the Wolf being free-or reduced.  It's now over $12-so I'll look at my library too.  New, good HF is always....good....

Jan - our library doesn't have it but AZN has copies for .30 (plus shipping of course), but that comes out to a little less than the sale price it was at before.

Jan - I should clarify that the copies selling for .30 are titled Hereward - which is the same book as Time of the Wolf!
