Are these books good?  Worth adding to my TBR pile?

You will absolutely fall in love with Stephanie Plum!  Not to mention, there is Morelli and Ranger!!!  Yum-o!!!  And a whole crazy cast of characters.  Definetly worth the read and they are a fast one too!!

You will laugh out loud and people around you will wonder if you are crazy.  They are just a joy to read.  Quick and easy too!!

Actually that's a different series, right?  I started that one with one for the money and am in the middle of the second one!

They are definately worth reading.  Try to get them in order 1-13 as the characters have background that is good to know about.  They are fast, easy fun reads, and they will make you laugh outloud.

Jenny, are you talking about her romance comedies and other books?  I've only read a few but they were good.  I'd prefer her Stephanie plum series.

hi i loved her stephanie plum series 1 for the money, etc. They are hilarious & will make u laugh. While I had a couple of her other books i  didn't read them & my sister who i turned onto Stephanie Plum (& both she & her husband loved) said she tried some of the other books not in the Plum series & didn't like them. They weren't funny like the Plum ones are. Have u read those?

The Full Series is decent(Stephanie Plum is a different series, guys--excellent, but different).  I liked Full Tilt and Full Speed--the rest focus more on other characters, and read more like straight romance.

I enjoyed Evanovich's Full series.  They're light, fun reads.  They'll make you laugh.  They go really quickly. And yes, they are different than her Stephanie Plum series.

I might get the first one from the library and see how I like it before I waste credits on books I may not like.

I know there are tons of  Janet Evanovich fans; obviously her books sell well!  But I couldn't get into any of her books. I tried a few and the zany heroines, flippancy, and endless one-liners just drove me crazy.  I like "light" and "comedy", but this wan't my cup of tea. I don't hate her books or anything, just find them annoying.

The writing style seems to come through in all her books, so make sure it's a style you enjoy.

I love her Stephanie Plum series books but was not so enthralled with her Full Tilt series. Maybe I would have liked them more if I had read them before the Plum series, but they were a true let-down after the hilarity of the Plum series. HTH.

I love the Plum series ... I really didn't like the "Full" series at all .... I really felt like the characters were too contrived.  Evanovich realized that she had something popular with the wacky characters in the Plum books, and tried to recreate the magic.  It didn't work, IMHO.
