I tried to get through The Madman's Daughter (Madman's Daughter, Bk 1) :: Megan Shepherd. It just wasn't my kind of book. Didn't like the characters and the vivisections of animals did me in, I had to stop reading it. They can't all be winners.

Read Girl  of Nightmares by Kendare Blake which is a followup to Anna Dressed in Blood which I read for last year's YA challenge.  And, I finished The Story of My Life by Helen Keller.  Sidetracked by One Bird by Kyoko Mori.  In the process of reading Fallen by Lauren Kate even though the reviews I've read are certainly mixed and I rather liked it.  Now into The Young Pioneers by Rose Wilder Lane prompted by a an earlier read about her mother and her writings.  Next  on my list were the historical fictions by Rosemary Sutcliff including Sword Song, a fun read, and The Eagle of the Ninth, 1/22/2014, a most interesting story.  My final read for the month was Nectar in a Sieve by Kamala Markandaya, the story of a young woman who married at age 12 to a kind loving man.

I finally finished You Look Different in Real Life last night...  it had really good moments...  but at other times it was just slow...  and then the ending was rushed...

Finished Pregnant Pause by Han Nolan this afternoon.. I ended up really enjoying it and definitely flew through the last half of the book.. Now I am planning on starting Allegiant tonight. I have heard some mixed reviews and am curious to start reading since I LOVED the first two.

I really liked Allegiant but my advice is to keep an open mind as you read it.

so i finished BREATHE last night for the YA NSS and enjoyed it more than I expected since I've heard such mixed reviews about Abbi Glines.

Then on the way home, I finished listening to The Edge of Never by JA Redmerski....it was ok, but I thought the end was REALLY rushed when it was so major....

Finished Prized by Caragh O'Brien yesterday. It was better than I thought. My only issue is you could read that book without reading the first. It didn't feel like part of a series.

Finished The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong. Half way through I tossed and turned with the idea of putting it down. It was so hard for me to get into. I felt like too many characters were introduced too soon and I was confused and bombarded by multiple character descriptions

Just finished reading Trust In Me by J. Lynn. I loved that it was from Cam's POV, made me love him so much more. I'm now about halfway through Breaking Point by Kristen Simmons. It's pretty good so far, definitely can't wait to see what happens :)

I loved Wait for Me, I personally thought it was amazing. Its definitely one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it!

Also, I just finished reading Breaking Point and oh my goodness was it good. I honestly can't wait to read the next one! While I wait patiently for that to come out next month, I'm going to start reading Some Quiet Place by Kelsey Sutton.

I'm reading Halo (Blood and Fire Series) by Frankie Rose on my Kindle.  I'm not very far into it, but enjoying it so far.  I had never heard of it, but it had a lot of good reviews on Amazon...so I gave it a shot.  Glad I did :)

I think next up will be The Essence, sequel to The Plegde by Kimberly Derting.

I finished Asylum :: Madeleine Roux. Kind of creepy with disturbing pictures. Not sure how I feel about it.

That is exactly how I felt, Alice.  Torn on whether or not I want to read the sequel...

Finished Some Quiet Place. I did like it, and I'll definitely read the next one. However, it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be. I wish the next book was a continuation of it though, I would have liked to see where it went. I'm about to start Frigid by J. Lynn.

I'm reading Three Broken Promises right now.  It's the 3rd book in the Drew & Fable series...  It was a bit harder to get into since it revolves around ancillary characters from the first 2 books...but now I'm drawn in...
