Happy New Year!  I'm starting a Car Freshener Swap to brighten the winter days and stimulate the senses. This will be for the flat, cardboard scented "tree" fresheners that come in many scents with a string at the top for hanging in your car (or other small space.)  Glade and Yankee Candle also make similar ones in their candle scents.  I have found them at gas stations, dollar stores, convenience stores, and departement stores, usually in the automotive section.  Often these are conveniently sold in packages of three individually wrapped fresheners.  These small items can be enclosed in an envelope or card for mailing with no extra postage.

Participants will purchase three (3) car fresheners and mail one to each of three "partners."  Everyone should receive three car fresheners.

Sign ups and shopping begin today since the scent is the giver's choice.  Sign-ups will close on January 15.

Partner lists will be sent by January 18.

Swapping can begin as soon as you get your list, but please have fresheners mailed by January 26.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  I am looking forward to this swap as I think it will be easy and inexpensive, and more people might join.  Please PM your name and mailing address to me to join the swap.

Glad to have you all join.  I did some scouting while I was Christmas shopping and was surprised to find that they are in a lot of stores, even drug stores!

This will be fun Fleur. I spotted some very interesting scents while Hubby & I were at the auto parts store. about a dozen + scents in packages of 3 or 4. I'm ready to play now.

I'm having a hard time deciding which scent to choose!  I did notice that there are scratch 'n sniff spots on the outside of some of the "tree" packages, so that helps. 

Anyone else interested in this scent-sational swap?

Got my first freshener in the mail today....from Fleur.  Woo-hoo!  So quickly it has arrived.  Thank you, Fleur!!  I won't mention the scent for fear of letting the cat out of the bag for some other swappers, but I am thrilled to have it!  This is so fun, thank you again!

Drinks on the beach smell wonderful with my first freshner from Fleur. Thanks Fleur! Caribbean tropical drinks are nice.
