Began the challenge with 1984 by George Orwell.  Also finished The Waters of Centaurus by Rosel George Brown, Stormwalker by Allyson James, and The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien.  Now on to Tolkien's Two Towers and James'  Firewalker.
