A fascinating book for one who has read a lot of books on weight control. This one is promising - not just selling a 'product' but teaching about REAL Japanese home cooking and about the skills the Japanese mother when it comes to food. I love this book! The author writes an interesting bit of biography as she goes along. VERY readable too.
Includes lots of personal information about growing up with a Japanese kitchen; descriptions and advice about ingredients. Each chapter ends with a selection of authentic recipes. A fun and informative read.
