I read this book on the recommendation of a WWII vet & former history teacher, and I'm glad I did! It is about Georgia during the colonization period, and the early settlements into middle GA. The story focuses around one man, but gives a wide scope of the history and passion surrounding him. Very interesting and entertaining. Even a little romance thrown in!
