This is from Jeri Westerson facebook page. She designed this lable for her husband's Mead.

Tomorrow is the Del Mar Fair. Hubby has some mead in the competition. Cross your fingers for him. (He's won best of show there before!)

What a great idea -- just tell me when and where -- do you think Jeri would let us all stay with her???

Um...I have a travel trailer. But actually, if you come to the book launch on Oct 15, we will be serving it free--along with medieval munchies and champagne. cheeky

Hmmm...free mead, medieval munchies, dueling knights, a new Crispin book, and a chance to see my S. Calif. college son -- very tempting indeed...

Jeri has a nice newsletter!

Oct. 15th is the day before our wedding anniversary; I think I could talk DH into attending this! (He keeps bees too, but he's never made mead!)

You'll only find the mead and medieval munchies at my book launch, not any other venue, so it's a once a year deal. There are also dueling knights, basket raffles, and other amusements at the launch. It's a fun evening. I also invite everyone to a Mexican dinner across the street--a "no-host" dinner, in other words, I made the reservations but it's up to you to pay for it. smiley But it's a fun way to keep the evening going. You can sit with me and swill margaritas. The fabulous bookstore who hosts the event says they have never seen a book launch like this. Needless to say, they love to have me back each year.
