Has anyone read this book?  I started it today and I like it so far but the story line seems very unusual.  I haven't read his other 2 books yet.  I have one on CD but I haven't listened to it. .......................update..this book is really getting good...fascinating story...I've usually liked Jonathan Kellermans books and Faye's are ok..but their kid is a really good writer..I am hooked on this book..no tv tonight..I need to read

I forget the name of his first one, and I'm too lazy to look it up. I couldn't get past the first several pages. Glad to hear they get better, but now I wonder if I should have given it another 50 pages.....

I liked Sunstroke; I'd give it a B.  Listened to it on CD.  I found his writing a little too "cute" at times.  Like he really stretched to be creative in his descriptions and not in a necessarily good way--more forced. Like he was sitting and trying REALLY hard to think of a weird way to present something common.  But the plot was good and "twisty."  I'm glad to know Genius is good.  I hope you let us know if it continues to be captivating!

It hit the spot with me....might have been my mood but I really enjoyed it.   I've read 3 books since though..so it is fading fast but I will try his next one.
