I saw in the Hastings flyer that he has a new one coming out. Its HB though, isn't it? That stinks as I hate HBs. I'll just have to wait. *sigh*

i'm #4 on the waitlist at the library.  since they seem to have realized how popular this series is, and have ordered 6 copies of this one, i'll be getting it as soon as the library's order arrives.  (and i'll buy my own copy when the MMP comes out in six months or so.)

of course, right now i'm having to stall going to the library.  i requested the Twilight trilogy a while ago, but #3 is on hold for me, and i'm still #4 and #5 for the first and second.  if i go get #3 now, i'll likely have to return it before #1 and #2 arrive - and then i'll have to put myself back on the waitlist for another several weeks.

unfortunately, Personal Demon by Kelley Armstrong is also waiting at the library, but if i pick up one thing they'll want to give me all of them.  i was hoping that one would come in first, but it arrived after Eclipse.

plus i've got one sf&f book on hold, and it looks like shortly there'll be at least one more.  gonna be a big stack when i pick them up!

I'm quite stoked that he'll be at a convention I'm doing in May in Mobile Alabama (MobiCon).  Think I'll pick up some extra books and have them signed as goodies for the paranormal WL swap :)

oh, don't wait...go buy it.  Small favor was awesome.  I'd write more but i'd probably spoil something and it's too soon to do that to people.  If you want a spoiler however (if your waiting to read it)  PM me. :)

I just bought the 1st book in his Dresden Files series. What should I expect? Are these funny-ish or way way serious? The guy at Borders had to help me..I thought they were mysteries but they were in sci-fi...my library didn't have them in the catalog though I did find one of the later ones at one branch so not s ure why they got one and not the others...

well I think they are funny but it's a dark sarcastic humor I guess, but they are definitely serious as well.

thanks Ashley! I'll give it a try since I already hve it but I wont' be in the mood for light/belly laugh kind of read at the time, right?! I guess once I've read some more in this genre I'll be better able to describe what I like. I just got one of Lynsay Sands' books  - the first in  a series I think- to try also and I"m looking forward to that as well.

I get a big kick out of Harry and his interactions with the other characters. He is sarcastic and witty and I find myself laughing a lot through the books although there are serious and dangerous times too.
