very sweet (just like the man he was). I had heard him read his poem about his dog who died a few times and while reading all of these poems, you can hear his recognizable voice.

Well, I really like this little book. Perhaps because I love Jimmy Stewart so. His voice is in my head as I read. :) No fault except that it isn't long enough. :)

Well, it's not very good poetry, but it's by Jimmy Stewart, who was a nice person, and sometimes there is an amusing passage. Here's the first stanza of a poem about a dog:
He never came to me when I would call
Unless I had a tennis ball,
Or he felt like it,
But mostly he didn't come at all...
