This author's debut novel is exciting if a bit long winded! Ok Ok he could have cut it down a hundred pages or more but its all good. He starts off with WWII landing thst is excellent on the shores of Pacific Island. There they get attacked by the japanese, and something else!! What follows is a tale about something evil that is brought back from the island and may cause world wide chaos if not put down!! The author flashes back and forth from 1943 to present day Boston where detectives are investigating a series of strange and grisly murders. A really good and different story!!
