Anyone else excited that "City of Souls" by Vicki Pettersson came out today? I walked to the bookstore (takes me 20 minutes) in the sweltering heat just to get my copy for my keeper shelf. What lengths will you go to get a book by your favorite authors?

I'm 27 out of 366 for Dreamfever by Karen Marie Moning and I still think I'm going to get twitchy and buy it:lol:   Seems like that series has such long spells between books and each one raises more questions than it answers...she's trying to kill me:lol:

Ohhh, Donna, I like those too. The stories are fun, but I don't think she is the best writer I've encountered. I was surprised I liked those. I haven't read the second one yet, though it's on Mt. TBR; will probably look into getting the third one at some point. Can't remember if I even have it WL'd or not!

I'm # 43 on the WL for City of Souls so I'm hoping quite a few people ran out and bought it and plan on posting it when they're done.  Of course my TBR pile is around 200 books so it's not like I'm gonna run out of something to read while I wait.  LOL

I love her too much to give her up, so unfortunately I won't be reading and posting my copy!

It was just posted to me! The gal was kind enough to PM me that it was an advanced copy but I'll take it. I can't wait to read it. Yay!

I read Dreamfever and I was totally blown away. I definitely did not see that coming. I suspected something was up as she's telling the story. I'm surprised she didn't figure it out, seeing on how she's pointing it out but I'm not sure I'd buy it. I posted it. It was the HC and I don't really like to keep those. Too big and all.
