John S. Glasby (born 1928) is a prolific British author whose work spanned a range of popular genres. A professional research chemist and mathematician , he produced over 300 novels and short stories during the 1950s and 1960s, most of which were published pseudonymously under the Badger Books imprint.

Glasby's output can be summarised briefly as follows:

• Approximately 25 speculative fiction novels, using pseudonyms such as "A. J Merak" and the Badger house names "John E. Muller", "Karl Zeigfreid" and "Victor LaSalle".

• An unknown number (possibly as many as a hundred) War stories set during World War II and published under a huge range of pseudonyms.
