I have posted a copy of How Children Fail, by John Holt, that does not have an ISBN. I noticed in searching John Holt titles that a number of folks are wishing for that book. However, since my copy does not have an ISBN, it will not generate any wish list notices. So I post it hear in case anyone would like to order it and wouldn't otherwise know of it's existence.

Happy Reading! :-)

Melissa

The ISBN # is 0201484021 when you say you have a 'non-ISBN' copy, i am suspecting that you have a copy that was printed before ISBNs were common. I would just use the ISBN for the book, make sure it comes up sorrectly (paperback or hard copy, ect), maybe make a note about it that it is an older, preISBN edition, and then it will list correctly and the wish list people will be notified.

Actually Latricia  you aren't supposed to do that.

Here's what the help docs say:

My book's on the Club Wish List, with a different/no ISBN

This means that no members are currently wishing for your version of the book.   You must not Post your version using the listing with the other ISBN.  Post your book properly, using the ISBN on your book, and checking to be sure that the book information (title, author, booktype) match your book.

If you want to read the rest of it, here's a link http://www.paperbackswap.com/help/search.php?terms=isbn
