Looks like a lot of fun. Kitteh didn't quite know what to make of the sword fight. The clanging noise was a wee bit scawy for her blush

Jeanne Vroman's Bookstore Pasadena, CA.  It says in the ad that it is Southern California's oldest book store.

Jeanne,  I went on line to see just how far Tucson is from the Greater Phoenix area and I had no idea that it was that far south.  But I thought I would put up the info for you and Josie, and any others who might be in the area.

Instead of listing them all http://www.jeriwesterson.com/appearance-schedule

Letty -I have to laugh whenever I look at a Google map that requires getting anyplace north of Phoenix or even within greater Phoenix. The time estimate they give sounds so reasonable - until you hit Phoenix! I find that city to be so sprawled out and so confusing and the traffic so congested - it's scary. And I've driven in many major cities daily to work, like Miami, Chicago and Denver (of course I was a lot younger then) but Phoenix is the pits to drive in. I looked at the map re the Glendale location (also north of Phoenix) and it estimates just under 2 hrs. Well, my daughter lives South of Phoenix and it takes almost that amount of time to get just to her house from mine! I wonder who the optimist is that figures these time estimates (probably a computer named Maven)?

LOL  Jeanne,  Well Maven might be just considering distances and highway speeds. (like you can maintain any where near highway speed)

Hi all! With Jerelyn's connections I felt you were all there celebvrating with me. Here is a link to my blog with more pictures and commentary. Some of you may have heard that I was looking for at least 200 people to buy the new book TROUBLED BONES the week of its release in order to impress my publisher (and an impressed publisher tends to offer more contracts) and we more than exeeded that goal! All told, my sales were up 40% from last year's release, and its due to people like Jerelyn getting the word out and to friendly folks like you. So thank you all!

Here's that link:     http://www.getting-medieval.com/my_weblog/2011/10/troubled-bones-book-launch-2011.html

Cheers,

Jeri Westerson
