Has anybody read Jon Loomis' Frank Coffin mysteries yet? If so, what do you think?

Alisa, although I am not familiar with Loomis,  I see that both of the books in this series, High Season and Mating Season, were given high ratings. I might have to try the first one....

I just finished the first one and I liked it.  I think the local library has the second one so I'll probably pick it up tomorrow.  I have the only copy of High Season posted in the system right now, if anybody is interested.

Alisa, I finished High Season yesterday--thought it was pretty good. I like smart-alecky, wise-cracking detective types--like  Robert Crais' Elvis Cole and Steve Hamilton's Alex McKnight--so Frank Coffin also fit the bill. I'll defnitely read Mating Season in the near future. Thanks for bringing Jon Loomis' books to my attention!
