I am totally loving Joss Ware's Envy Chronicles....has anyone else read them?  If so, I'd love to find more with a similar theme, if anybody has a recommendation.  These books are set not to far into the future, 50 years or so after our current time when the world was basically destroyed in a mini-apocalypse type situation and the survivors had to kind of start over and rebuild, repopulate, etc.

Thanks!

Thrust into a post-apocalyptic world, these remarkable men meet up, spar and partner with the just-as-remarkable women who will win their hearts as they fight an immortal enemy determined to crush all humanity.

Driven (Shomi) by Eve Kenin is pretty good, post-apocalyptic icy tundra setting, kinda like Mad Max in the arctic. I liked it.

Have you read The Passage by Justin Cronin? I haven't read the Joss Ware books yet so I don't know if this is similar.

Thanks so much for posting, Alisa.  I had not heard of The Passage  by Justin Cronin, so I had to check it out.  It sounds really good, and although I generally prefer there be a romance element to the books I read, I think this one sounds very interesting.  I have added it to my WL - I'm number 619!  LOL - I might have to see if the library has it, otherwise I might be too old to read it when it finally becomes available at PBS.  :  )

Thanks again for the recommendation and have a Happy New Year!
